Welcome to Sea Green Mermaid! For sale is a 10k yellow gold antique double snake pendant. I had my jeweler convert this pendant from an antique pin so it could be worn and enjoyed. This piece was crafted during the Egyptian revival period in the early 1800's, when Europeans and Americans became obsessed with all things from "the Orient."  The intertwined snakes are hollow and sturdy, their bodies coiled in an elaborate figure eight pattern. Each snake has glowing natural red ruby eyes set in her diamond shaped head. A vibrant blue lab sapphire cabochon is bezel set at the center of the pendant.
