by Mischa Rutenberg This suite of songs was inspired by extemporaneous talks given by Murshida Carol Weyland Conner in Myrtle Beach, SC, at Youpon Dunes, the residence of Meher Baba's devoted disciple Elizabeth Patterson during the 1940s and '50s. It was here that Meher Baba stayed while recuperating from his automobile accident in 1952. And it was in this house, during those weeks, that Meher Baba drafted the charter for Sufism Reoriented.
