Purple lotus spiral Murrini enamel earrings with sterling ear wires

The lovely shape of these earrings is reminiscent of a lotus.  As such, I use a light purple enamel.  I also fuse a slice of light green spiral Murrini glass in the belly of the flower.  Murrini glass is sliced cross sections of glass cane. The backs are black enamel.  I hand make the sterling ear wires. Please note that due to the thin pieces of copper in these earrings, they are particularly delicate.  There are 2 layers of enamel on each side, which is glass.  Be very careful handling these earrings, especially around the thin points of contact in the metal.
