Royal Blue Enamel Wave Necklace

For those who love the ocean and want to carry a piece of that energy with them. This pendant is my artistic rendering of a cresting ocean wave. It has a graphic and bold feel.  It can be personalized on the back with a name or message.  In this piece, I sift a base coat of white enamel onto the copper and fire in my kiln. I then sift transparent blue enamels over that layer and fire.  The back of the wave has a light blue enamel with black writing for the personalization. The wave is 1.25 inches in diameter.  I include a sturdy waxed cotton black cord that is adjustable from 16" to 18". The cord has stainless steel components. I only use supplies that are as eco-friendly as possible.The pendants are cut out of pure copper sheet metal. I then enamel each piece by a technique called "sifting".
