Spiral Enamel Seagreen Copper Necklace

Spirals have a special place in my heart.  They are beautiful organic forms created by nature.  As with many natural elements, we can see more meaning in spirals than just their physical structure.  The symmetry and potentially endless nature of a spiral reflects a single shell on the beach or an entire galaxy.  As with waves, spirals have a cresting element and a circular shape which defines feminine to me. In this special spiral necklace, spirals exist within spirals!  I texture the copper with a spiral pattern and slightly dome it before adding transparent enamel.  The beautiful golden flux and sea green hues glow on top of the copper. I can also add a personalization on the back.  I use a light blue enamel with black writing for the personalization. The wave is 1 1/4" inches in diameter.  I include a sturdy waxed cotton black cord that is adjustable from 16" to 18". The cord has stainless steel components.
