Playboi Carti

Jordan Terrell Carter, professionally known as Playboi Carti, is an American recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia. His musical journey began in 2011 under the name Sir Cartier, but he later adopted the moniker Playboi Carti in May 2013. Carti gained local recognition through collaborations with fellow rapper UnoTheActivist and producer Ethereal. In 2017, he released his debut commercial mixtape, which featured hits like “Magnolia” and “wokeuplikethis*.”
