Wool+ Box: Crossbred

Our first installment of the PNWWW Wool+ Box, in cahoots with Cooke Creek Sheep Company, Skagit Wool Works, and featuring Black Coffee Northwest and Queen Mary Tea Shop. Our theme for this release is Riparian, the transitional space between river and dry land, often wet and marshy. Our riparian zones and river banks here in Washington are frequently rocky with moss thriving in the cool, moist environment.  Your Wool+ Box Includes: One 4 ounce braid of hand dyed wool roving in the Riparian colorway. This is a colorway exclusive to the Cooke Creek Wool+ boxes. This colorway transitions from the sandy creek bottoms to turbulent blue water to mossy stones cradling the shore. This fiber blend is pretty exclusive to Cooke Creek Sheep Company. We took the fiber from their Coopworth/BFL crosses and blended it with their Texel/BFL crosses to produce a roving that is silky, has a slight sheen, and has that texel bounce.  A handful of goodies collected from artists and shops in the PNW and/or ha
