ELGIN B. W. Raymond The BW Raymond Watch was named after Elgin's founder, and former mayor of Chicago, B. W. Raymond. The B.W. Raymond moniker only appeared on watches that Elgin believed represented the absolute pinnacle of engineering and accuracy.  “The B. W. Raymond is striking in its simplicity.
