1949 BULOVA Watertite Military Style Wristwatch Swiss Caliber 10BCC 17J Watch

Bulova WatertiteCal. 10BCCOne of Bulova's earliest waterproof wristwatches, this military-style 1949 Watertite is a very cool piece to add to a watch collection!  The Swiss movement is a caliber 10BCC with 17 jewels, and is signed Bulova Watch Co. It has a center second complication. The dial is an attractive beige color with a mild patina. The Arabic numerals and syringe-style hour and minute hands are luminous, and the central second is a pretty red. The dial is signed Bulova and Swiss with a minute track, all in black. The stainless steel case has been designed to be one of Bulova's first waterproof wristwatches. The replacement crown is signed "W".  It is coming on a plain black two-piece leather strap with a silver buckle.
