1922 ILLINOIS Wristwatch Grade 903 Model 2 15 Jewels U.S.A. Made Watch

IllinoisGrade 903 Size 6/0sU.S.A.This antique Illinois wristwatch dating from 1922 is in beautiful condition and still runs great! Made in Springfield, Illinois, the movement is Model 2, Grade 903, Size 6/0s, with 15 jewels, and is an openface with a pendant setting, and is non-railroad grade. The 27 mm case is rolled gold plate over a base metal, with stainless steel caseback. The beautiful dial is gold color with shiny gold Breguet numerals and minute track, with a gold lozenge-shaped hour hand and gold cathedral-shaped minute hand. The small second-hand is uniquely located at 9 o'clock with a tempered blue steel hand. It is signed Illinois.  This wristwatch comes on a brown leather two-piece strap bracelet with a gold buckle. This is a very attractive antique Illinois wristwatch that runs great and would make a nice gift or addition to a watch collection.
