Trapped by terrorists in a desert cave, Tony Stark creates a complex exoskeletal armor from limited resources. This armor, known as the Mark 1, is the origin of all proceeding Iron Man suits. Although this suit is primitive compared the the iconic suits that followed, It’s just advanced enough to get him to safety, and out of the grasp of the terrorists giving Tony the inspiration he needed to become Iron Man.This 1/2 scale Iron Man Mark 1 statue captures Tony Stark’s first iteration of the armor that started it all.
