Marvel X-Men ’97: Jubilee (Pre-Order)

Who is Jubilee?After her adoptive parents discovered her mutant powers, her adoptive father, despite her mother’s protests, called the mutant control division. Upon overhearing their discussion about this decision, the teenage mutant hero and daughter of Chinese immigrants, Jubilation Lee, questioned why she was becoming a mutant and remembered when she used to be normal, making it clear that manifesting her mutation was not her fault. Hurt, she ran away to an arcade in a mall where a Sentinel robot arrived to capture her. Saved by the X-Men, she was taken unconscious to Xavier's Mansion, where she woke up receiving support from the medical team. Eventually, Jubilee joined the X-Men, making the mutant superhero team her new family, especially Wolverine, with whom she developed a father-daughter relationship. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, Jubilee has the mutant power to generate bright multicolored energy explosions from her hands that resemble fireworks.
