Past-Perfect artifacted pod vest

Past-Perfect pod vest. I built it by chaos-quilting — and sculpting as I went — in triple layers: the interior is heavy weight linen, the middle core is cotton double gauze, the outside is a blend of middle weight linens and cottons.  It's scrappy, it's frayed, it's hefty enough to be outerwear. It sports two generous pockets. And until you put it on you won't understand how pod-shaped it truly is. Garment-dyed in earthy peach and browns. Racerback! I forgot to say racerback. That was where I started this piece, with the idea that it would have a racerback and be pod-like. Most good things in life are pod-shaped. How long did it take me to make this? I hereby invoke a meme: And that is not me complaining. I had a joyous time creating this beast. The past is gone; the past is perfect. Time is not real.
