A background of tempered Coreopsis dye gives this scarf a rich, ancient-looking background. A few Coreopsis flowers pop out. There are subtle sprigs of Cotinus flowers and leaves, creating a watercolor effect, reminding me of some of William Turner's seascape paintings. The background is a soft-golden shade.
