hogwarts castle|| harry potter art print

I have never physically read the Harry Potter books, rather I have listened to all of them, multiple times.  The first time I listened to "the Sorcerer's Stone" I remember thinking how familiar this story felt.  I had never heard it before, but the way the story unfolded felt like my favorite fairy tales and I found myself transported into the world of magic. Many years later, my daughter is now a Potterhead.  She falls asleep every night listening to the books on CD in her room.  I love that a story that was new to me but felt like home is now doing the same thing for her, giving us a common ground to stand on.
