The original SD-X1 design was focused on speed and pushed the limits to the max. The ball was so fast, that it exceeded the R&A limits for initial velocity while staying in the 5% tolerance allowed. The new SD-X1 2nd Generation see the Seed design team build on that speed & performance and features several design upgrades including a faster core, more elastic mantle layer, a thinner cast urethane cover and a new dimple pattern.
