Small evergreen flowering tree native to south eastern United States. • It grows 16-43' tall with a spread of 20-30'. • The twigs are red to grayish brown and very slender. • When crushed the twigs and leaves emit a fragrance described as resembling almond extract. • The fruits are tiny black cherries about 1cm in diameter, which persist through winter and are primarily consumed by birds. • Great for natural settings. grow best in zones 6-10. • Note: We do not ship to HI, AK and PR.
