The open pollinated plants provide a good yield of fruit that measures around 2 1/2 - 3" long & wide. The peppers are most commonly harvested when they are white to blend in color wise when using the mild fruit to season dishes like salads, seafood, cream sauces, & potatoes, but you can allow them to continue to mature to orange & finally red & enjoy them after the transformation as well.
