ASW Distillery Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon

Fiddler Heartwood Bourbon begins with the same foraged high-wheat mash bill as Fiddler Unison Bourbon. We then finish it on hand-harvested, charred Georgia white oak heartwood staves that we hand-charred and placed in the barrels for the final few months of maturation.  In addition to the wheat lending a soft, silky texture and salted caramel, the Georgia staves lend maple, sandalwood, oak and a rounder mouthfeel, for a textured complexity rarely seen in a bourbon.  Proof: varies Mash Bill: 51/45/4 Corn/Wheat/Malted Barley  Tasting Notes: Caramel, maple, fresh orange, sandalwood Awards: Gold Medal, San Fransisco World Spirits Competition, 2018, 2021, 2022
