Bloom refers to a white, powdery, or cloudy film on the surface of your candle. It is a great thing, because it’s a sign that the candle is pure beeswax. Bloom is comprised of miniscule, crystalline structures of natural beeswax components. Many beeswax connoisseurs love the awaited bloom because it gives an antiqued and rustic appearance (including myself!) However, it can be easily removed by gently rubbing the surface with your hand or a soft, lint free cloth. You can also run a warm blow dryer over the candle. Either of these techniques will restore the candle's natural shine and color.
