Future of Computing: Sustainable AI Systems

AI models and datasets are growing at an exponential rate, far outpacing hardware advances – creating both performance and sustainability challenges. Continued progress in AI requires system-level innovation and meaningful collaboration, which are often difficult in an industry where IP is critical. SEMI’s Smart Data-AI Initiative is organizing this workshop to bring together leaders from industry, academia and entrepreneurs representing all elements in the value chain of an AI system – including materials, devices, architectures, algorithms and critical enabling technologies.
