PressureGuard APM provides advanced pressure relief for superior patient comfort and safety. Unlike other alternating pressure mattresses, the PressureGuard® APM is designed to avoid creating extreme pressure differences between inflated and deflated cells. Its top layer features the Geo-Matt® anti-shearing surface, providing a comfortable and therapeutic interface between the user and the air system. This layer absorbs and smooths out sharp pressure changes that other surfaces can’t, while the air system below alternates weight distribution in ten-minute cycles.
