Raccoon Baculum, Dressed Coon Dong Curio
The raccoon baculum, or penis bone, is traditionally used in Southern rootwork for luck, personal power, and mastery, particularly in the areas of gambling and sexual attraction (typically used by men on female targets, but more and more women are using them, especially as jewelry, and reporting good results).These average about 2.5 to 3.5 inches long, so they will usually fit in a standard-sized mojo bag (but not one of these petite, cute, non-traditional organza ones I keep seeing more and more of), or you can carry them by themselves as pocket pieces (dress lightly with Fast Luck, Van Van, or another appropriate condition oil depending on what you're using it for). If you do not specify an oil, I'll use Van Van.Some folks make necklaces and keychains out of them too (because anytime you're carrying a plain old bone in your pocket with no
