Cloud in the Sky

I will always love turquoise. It was part the first “real” jewelry I ever wore at age seven, when my parents traveled through the Southwest with my brother and I (and our cat!) and stopped at a trading post to pick up some souvenirs. My eyes went past the beautifully woven baskets, past the hand-painted bowls, past the tooled leather and right to the turquoise jewelry. Mom bought me a tiny ring and I’ve been obsessed since.  Cloud in the Sky is stunning Kingman mine turquoise slabs combined with a gorgeous, lustrous 16mm baroque Edison pearl. I’ve added a couple cubes of faceted apatite to the back to add a little length, and finished the piece with a simple handmade sterling silver S-shaped clasp.  I love this necklace and I hope you do too!
