This aged Bai Mu Dan was charcoal roasted and has been aged in its loose leaf form until we pressed it in 2022. Charcoal roasted loose leaf white teas tend to provide a more complex aging flavors and rich fragrance than white teas that are not. This is a first grade Bai Mu Dan with many hairy tiny tea buds and small hairy young leaves. White Peony tends to age slower than Shou Mei, despite being only four years old, it's offering a one of kind aged white tea experience.
