I saw the sculpture called "The River" by Aristide Maillol that was in MoMA's Sculpture Garden when I visited New York in 2018. I photographed the artwork and decided to paint it as I was very inspired by the emotions portrayed. Even though the woman is about to (literally or figuratively) fall into lava, she still takes the chance to overcome a challenging obstacle in her life. Shipping Info Refund & Return Policy
