Abramelin Oil + Crowley Recipe + Thelema

We created our Abramelin Oil on August 12th during the Feast for the First Night of the Beast and his Bride. We followed Aleister Crowley’s recipe when making this oil. Crowley founded Thelema, and many use his version in several ceremonies of the Thelemic church, Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica, including the rotes of Confirmation and Ordination. It is also commonly used to consecrate magickal implements and temple furniture. The Cake of Light, which is an integral component of the Gnostic Mass and other ceremonies, contains Abramelin Oil. Crowley said the following about Abramelin Oil: “The oil consecrates everything that is touched with it; it is his aspiration; all acts performed in accordance with that are holy. The Holy Oil is the Aspiration of the Magician; it is that which consecrates him to the performance of the Great Work; and such is its efficacy that it also consecrates all the furniture of the Temple and the instruments thereof. It is also the grace or chrism; for this as
