ROUGH & REFINED TURQUOISE NECKLACE

Rough & Refined Turquoise Necklace has irregular turquoise rondelles in graduated sizes, ending with a sterling silver toggle clasp and a tassel.  Graced with green Tibetan style dzi beads, the chunky turquoise gives a tribal feel to this impressive piece. The green turquoise and jasper conglomerate pendant is an inverted pear shape, with a sparkling marcasite border. It’s a stunning contrast in styles: the coarse cuts of the chunky turquoise, and the delicate pavé set marcasites. Rough & Refined Turquoise Necklace is 22″ long which includes the clasp. The pendant is 3″ long, 2″ across at its widest section. The type of stone in this pendant necklace appears to be Treasure Mountain turquoise, which is mined in Hubei, China.  It is mostly green, with occasional teal and blue. The matrix is usually brown in color and has beautiful webbed patterns.
