This state bird is widespread throughout California. It's distinctive call ("Eureka!") travels clearly through its brushy habitat. Males are easily identified by their distinctive black top-knot, made up of several specially modified feathers. Pen and ink rendering on Duralene film. Original art is approximately 8" x 10". Unframed.
