Carb-O-Nator® is an 85% potassium bicarbonate fungicide, the same formulation as Milstop. It has broad spectrum activity against a variety of fungal pathogens. Used as a foliar fungicide with multi-site mode of action: a combination of osmotic pressure, pH, and specific ion effects. It acts very rapidly to cause dehydration and total collapse of spores and mycelium of susceptible fungi. Carb-O-Nator disrupts pathogen cell-wall balance with the potassium.
