Quilting 101, Patchwork Pillow w/ Caitlin
For anyone new to quilting, this class will teach you the basics! We will create a patchwork throw pillow as we practice and build on our skills. Students will learn to cut their fabric, piece together squares, and leave with a completed patchwork throw pillow. Students will be introduced to the anatomy of a quilt, how to iron and cut fabric, and learn all of the steps to leave them with a foundation for their future quilting endeavors. Previous experience required for this class: students need to know how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, sew in a straight line, be familiar with seam allowance, and be able to back stitch. Ages 10+, if student is 14 and younger, please enroll a sewist adult with the student. All adult students are welcome!
