INTRODUCTION This has been a long time coming!  Ever since the Sewfisticated Laptop pattern back in 2021, I’ve wanted to design a padded strap.  I was never fond of the typical removable padded style strap - it often sticks out awkwardly at the shoulder blade.   A special thanks to Jenn Hoopert-McGinn from Jenn's Homemadeology, our amazing SCD moderator, a brilliant idea came to life: a padded center sleeve flanked by two adjustable straps on either side! Wider straps typically offer more comfort but often demand bulkier hardware. With this padded sling strap, you get the best of both worlds:
