Kiridashi

This is the first and newest version of our cerakote Kiridashi production line. Sleek, functional sparing no detail for its intended use. The Japanese Kiridashi Knife is one of the most famous traditional Japanese knives. Functional and small, it’s best for cutting and carving wooden material. It requires less power for accurate cutting than other knife varieties. This is our take on this classic Japanese wood carving knife. We replicated the edge geometry, and point profile, then changed the handle shape for a more natural fit to the hand, so that it could be used for a variety of tasks as well as its intended function of wood carving. Our production model is right-handed, but we will happily make a left-handed version upon request.
