The kit also features no-drill fasteners, ensuring a strong and secure bond without the need for drilling into the mounting surface. The vented backer is a custom-cut piece of corrugated plastic with double-sided foam tape around the perimeter that sticks to the panel and acts as a gasket to prevent wind noise & drag on a vehicle. The back side of the vented backer features more heavy duty double-sided foam tape that will adhere to the mounting surface, as well as prevent lift by blocking wind from flowing under the panel.
