This minimalist touch is added to our best-selling Soprano sheets. MATERIAL: Unlike regular cotton, which has a matte finish, sateen fabric is woven with a higher thread count and has a shiny, silky surface due to the way the threads are woven. This gives sateen sheets a luxurious feel and a soft, smooth texture. They are also typically heavier than percale sheets, providing a warmer feel, making them popular in cooler climates or for those who prefer a cozy, silky touch.
