              Beautiful Handmade Damascus Steel Trapper Folding Pocket Knife The Mini Trapper was designed by Doug Robinson. The small pocket knife is part of a larger series of Gear and Survival knives made from Damascus Steel. Each knife is handmade by Doug in Iowa using an ancient smelting process that dates back to the 16th century in Europe. Mini Trapper has a Lockback design and a bone handle, with a 2.3” blade. Our Damascus pocket knives are made from pattern-welded steel, a combination of hard and soft steel that creates a striking pattern on each blade. Billets or bars of steel are formed into billet; these billets or bars are then used to make a knife. The knife is profiled, ground, heat-treated, and finished with additional processes like etching and bluing to reveal the striking pattern on the blade. It is crucial that we take extra care in maintaining its sharpness so it can continue serving us for many years. Key Features The overall length of the knife is 5.1” inch
