This scene is near the edge of a meadow on Mt. Hood in Oregon. It's a traditional huckleberry harvesting area for local First Nations tribes. The whole meadow is blanketed in huckleberry bushes and sedges and other wetland grasses. It is a wet spongy meadow after snow melt. After it dries out in late summer, the meadow is crisscrossed with channels running with clear sparkly water. Acrylic 5 x 5 inches Framed Size: 9.5 x 9.5 inches
