BEECH MUSHROOMS Hypsizygus tessulatus This beech mushroom was collected from a maple tree in the Catskills of New York in 2016 and has turned into a gourmet mushroom that is a favorite of chefs and a valuable mushroom crop on our farm. Sawdust spawn is 5 pounds net weight. Mushroom plug spawn is sold in bags of 100 and, bulk plug spawn in bags of 500. Modified cheese wax is available for purchase with the bag of 100 plugs.
