Traditional oak and sherry butts combine to deliver a subtly balanced flavor. Golden amber with a touch of red, the Aberlour 12 Year Double Cask has a rich nose of golden honey, fruity pears and vanilla toffee. On the palate it is smooth with tangy orange, red apple, licorice and almond notes. The finish is smooth and sweet, with a hint of spice.
