
Chateau Musar, Cinsault/Tempranillo/Cabernet "Levantine de Musar" Bekaa Valley, Lebanon 2021
55% Cinsault, 35% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon Deep red with a hint of violet, aromas of red fruits, blackcurrant, blueberry, mature red cherries, with a hint of dried fruits and nuts. A fruity attack, with smooth tannins, and a nice acidity that gives freshness to this young wine. 2021 harvest was a return to the “good old days” where everything went like clockwork and no extreme conditions. The wine was blended in Spring 2022 and bottled the same year in early Summer. Made in small production, this blend is representative of the Tempranillo grape imbedded in the Chateau Musar blendings. Founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, to know Chateau Musar takes an understanding of terroir, of natural winemaking, of human nature and of history.
