Handel, G. - Passaglia in D Major (Two Violins and Viola)

(G. F Handel (1685-1759) was a German violinist, harpsichordist and composer who ultimately settled in England, where he enjoyed artistic success.This trio for two violins and viola is rewarding for strong intermediate/advanced students and players. All parts have interesting moments, and the rhythms are predictable and fairly easy. The first violin very occasionally ventures into fifth position.
