The Devore technique removes velvet pile leaving sheer silk chiffon backing (dyed dark gray) contrasting with lustrous rayon velvet, hand-painted with vivid dyes in a watercolor style. • Washable:This scarf was pre-rinsed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle wash cycle followed by a hot dryer will make it softer. It may be ironed on the reverse side. •Measures 21"'x70" (54cmx178cm):The sewn hems are rolled-edges.•The fabric is silk backing with rayon pile.All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
