Gray Oak Leaves Scarf/Shawl

An original pattern of Oak Leaves in devoré (burnout) velvet. It is made by  removing some velvet pile to reveal a pattern. The sheer silk chiffon background was dyed gray. The shimmering velvet pattern was then hand-painted with more dyes.• Washable:This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle wash will add to its softness, as will putting it in the dryer. It may be ironed on the reverse side. •Measures 20"'x70" (54x177cm):The sewn hems are rolled-edges. Can be worn as a scarf or shawl.•The fabric is 100% silk chiffon backing with 100% rayon velvet pile.All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.Requests for custom colors are welcome.
