Velvet Scarf/Shawl in Periwinkle

• One-of-a-kind:I printed my own pattern of pussy-willows into white silk-velvet, creating a texture called devorè, sometimes referred to as "burn-out velvet" or "cut velvet". The fabric is sheer silk dyed a periwinkle tone, with an all-over velvet pattern, hand-painted with more dyes creating a watercolor effect.• Washable:This scarf was pre-rinsed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle will make it softer. A hot dryer will make it fluffier. It may be ironed on the reverse side. •Measures 21"'x70": The sewn hems are rolled-edges.•The fabric is 50% silk and 50% rayon.All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
