Lily Pads pattern made in to devorè (burnout) velvet in the vivid colors at dawn. The fabric is sheer silk chiffon backing dyed a purple tone, with a dramatically contrasting velvet design that is hand-painted with dyes in a watercolor style. a peaceful scene in nature of a pond of flowering lilies surrounded by lily pad leaves.• Washable:This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle will make it softer. A hot dryer will make it fluffier.
