Borosilicate glass flasks are designed to give the best combination of thermal shock resistance, physical strength and resistance to chemical attack. Also called "Florence Flasks," they are nice to use because they they heat more evenly than a beaker or Erlenmeyer flask. They are made of borosilicate (heat resistant) glass, have tooled mouths, a flat bottom and long necks. Uses a size 10 Rubber stopper.
