This wonderful hair dress does not weigh the hair down when used in moderation. It's a great sealant and it soothes dry scalp. It melts easily with natural body heat. I enjoy using it on my wash & go styles. I also use it on my 'silk press' clients. A little on the ends after blow drying and a little on the scalp as I go along (in dry areas). It's not heavy like grease or oil.
