Boro 襤褸 is a Japanese form of recycling coming from an economic necessity in which fabric is patched on the reverse side to preserve the usability. Tenugui 手拭い are Japanese hand towels that are also often used for wrapping items or everyday wear. This kimono is comprised of many different tenugui.
