water opals are hydrophilic meaning that they absorb water, and when absorbing water it can enhance the fiery/earthy color they give off! The water opals are sitting on water beads to give that effect of floating in the jar - I will provide some opal information and a few extra dried water beads that you will just have to place in water when it’s time to replace the current ones as I recommend freshening up the water every once in a while!
