SJ Record Club - Brass Weight/45 adapter

Music is always playing here in the shop and a lot of the time is playing on our old Acoustic Research ES-1 turntable. Ehhh, of course sometimes we put the streaming stuff on when it's super busy but vinyl is preferred in this shop. There's just something about the tactile ritual of pulling a record from its sleeve, setting on the platter and lowering the needle into that first groove. Of course, even with our old setup that has pretty halfway decent sound, we want to do everything within our power to make it sound as good as possible. Always being curious about record weights, I set off to buy one... I found none that would match the beauty and style of my particular stereo setup.. They're all in the Tech-y vein which is fine for a lot of people but not for me. It was evident I'd have to try to design my own.  Record weights help solidify the connection of the record to the platter.. with that comes a reduction in the micro vibrations that can exist, leading to a cleaner sound.
